We’ve released a new and improved SEO feature that will help boost credibility and authority of all your Timestamps.

Structured data is useful in SEO so that machines, crawlers, and search engines can understand your Timestamps widget (what, how, why). This gives better information of your CreativeWork so that the internet can identify your Timestamps widget easier.

This allows search engines and website crawlers to find out that you have an underlying Verification Certificate alongside your timestamp. You can see valuable information such as the producer, version, the previous certificate version, the certificate ID, SHA256 checksum, date published, and much more.

Once you have installed and set up the Timestamps plugin, you can go ahead and save a post/page/CPT and it will generate a certificate for you. You can add [timestamps] shortcode, or a Gutenberg “Timestamps” Block, and it will display the “Verified By” badge with a link to the certificate, enhancing your authority.
